Pricing and Estimates

Understand the difference between hourly pricing, flat-fee packages, retainers and custom estimates.

Basic core services are generally priced between $45 and $65 per hour. Premium or more advanced services are generally priced between $65 and $85 per hour. The applicable rate depends on the type and complexity of the work requested.

CVD currently offers three general flat-fee options:

  • Basic Package: $250
  • Premium Package: $300
  • Elite Package: $750

Each package is intended for a defined scope. Additional pages, sets, revisions or custom work may require an updated estimate.

Flat-fee pricing is generally best when the project fits within a clearly defined package. Hourly pricing is often better when the volume, file condition, complexity or required deliverables cannot be determined in advance.
Published prices provide a starting point. A flat-fee price applies when the project fits the agreed package scope. Additional volume, complexity, revisions or shortened deadlines may change the final price.
Bulk document-review projects are quoted individually. Pricing may depend on page or file count, current condition, indexing requirements, Bates-labeling needs, requested deliverables and deadline.

Project Process

Learn how requests are reviewed, quoted, accepted and completed.

Complete the Request a Quote form and provide the type of service needed, approximate volume, current condition of the materials and desired completion date. CVD will review the request and follow up regarding scope and availability.
Include enough general information to help CVD understand the project without disclosing confidential case details. Helpful information includes the requested service, approximate file or page count, number of binders or sets, file condition and deadline.
No. Submitting a form does not confirm project acceptance, reserve a deadline or create a service relationship. CVD must review and accept the project before work begins.
CVD reviews the information provided, determines whether additional details are required and follows up regarding availability, recommended scope, estimated pricing and proposed next steps.

Documents and File Handling

Important information about sending, organizing and receiving case-related materials.

No. Do not submit confidential, privileged or sensitive case materials through a general Contact Us or Request a Quote form. Secure transfer instructions may be provided after the request is reviewed.
Yes. Depending on the project, CVD may assist with digital files, physical documents, printed binders, exhibit sets or a combination of digital and physical materials.
File cleanup may include renaming files, improving folder structures, removing obvious duplicates when instructed, organizing materials by category or date and applying consistent naming or labeling conventions.
Bates numbering is a method of applying unique sequential identifiers to pages or documents. It helps legal teams reference, organize and track materials during discovery, depositions and trial preparation.

Timing and Deadlines

Understand how project timing, availability and rush requests are handled.

Completion time depends on the type of service, project volume, file condition, complexity, required deliverables and current availability. A proposed timeline should be confirmed before the project begins.
Rush service may be available for urgent projects, including work required within 48 hours, on weekends or outside normal working hours. Rush requests are subject to availability and project feasibility.
Yes. A 30% rush surcharge may apply to accelerated document review, organization or production required within 48 hours, on weekends or after normal working hours.
No. A requested deadline is not reserved until CVD has reviewed and accepted the project and the applicable scope, timing and arrangements have been confirmed.
